Hello,

Welcome to my Phenomenal Woman page!

I was very honored my adoptiondreams.com site helped me receive the distinction of being a "Phenomenal Woman of the Web" on December 4, 2001.  I was equally pleased to be accepted as the "Epitome of a Phenomenal Woman" a couple of weeks later. 

Even though I have authored and maintain several websites, I am most proud of and passionate about adoptiondreams.com.  The reason is simple....it represents my quest to fulfill a 14 year dream.  My dream of being a mother.  When Rex and I discovered we could not have biological children, we set out to build a family any way we could.  For us, that way is through adoption.  This site is an attempt to, not only reach out to a very big world in search of a miracle, but to also promote awareness. Adoption awareness....Family awareness.  We hope when our visitors leave our site they realize, for us, and others like us, being parents is never taken for granted.

I think being the epitome of a phenomenal woman means you have the ability to show passion for things that are important to you.  Like family.  To be able to  laugh and love freely.  Let those you love know you love them...laugh with them....take time to spend some time.  To dream, and strive to achieve those dreams. And don't forget your prayers...I truly believe God listens to those who go to Him in prayer.

In today's uncertain times, we find ourselves searching for something we can hold as sacred...something we can trust.  The September 11th incidents have made us realize what is important in life and how quickly we can lose the people who are most important to us.  Not too long ago I heard the question asked "If you were to die tomorrow, would the people you love know how much you love them?" I want to be able to say "yes".  

Don't forget to tell those you love how much they mean to you....
